We would like to inform you that new release of GeneralKB program is out and available for downloading. In this new version you will find some bug fixes and some new improvements. It is recommended that all users update to the latest version.

GeneralKB v2.6.284 changes:

November 18, 2008 - New version of GeneralKB program is ready for download

We would like to inform you that new release of GeneralKB v2.5 is available for downloading. GeneralKB is successor of General Knowledge Base program that was acquired last summer by our company. GeneralKB fully supports databases created by General Knowledge Base.
GeneralKB is an innovative knowledge management software allowing an easy and effective management of all types of knowledge bases. It is an optimal tool for categorizing and finding articles, documents or data. It allows user to keep documents systematized, to add notes and attachments, capture and store web pages from the web. Easy access to an organization’s knowledge base either on LAN, WAN or Internet is also provided.
Customers purchased the license after June 1, 2008 are eligible to get free update to that version. All other customers may purchase an upgrade to the latest version with discount. Please contact our sales team for more info.

New version has some significant changes. One of them is inline viewer for PDF files.

What’s in this version:

  • Added locale setting when creating new db;
  • Fixed search mode;
  • Added double click for creating new tab;
  • Added tab closing by middle-click on tab header;
  • Added pdf viewer;
  • Added export to pdf;
  • Added proxy settings for web capturing;
